Brenda Pandos.

Mommy warrior, comma-kazi, wife, computer whisperer, chocolate enthusiast, vampire slayer, merman magnet, and lover of all things pure and right.Well... maybe after a cup of coffee or two.
But really, my life is surrounded by the loves in my life--my husband, our incredible smart boys and my characters. Before becoming a full-time author, I worked for the State of California. After my son's autism diagnosis, my life turned upside-down. I was forced to quit. Being pregnant with #2 and giving birth right before we embarked on a 35 hour a week in-home therapy schedule was grueling to say the least. Overnight my home turned into a train station with very little privacy. Although I was thankful for the specialized learning the tutors gave my son, I craved a meaningful escape.
So why vampires? I've always had an affinity for them, starting with Lost Boys, then Brad Pitt as Louis, the ever-beautiful anguishing vampire, in Interview with a Vampire. And who doesn't adore Angel. Buffy the vampire slayer was an all time favorite of mine as well. So because the craze had hit the world (and in my home), I tried writing my own story for kicks, The Emerald Talisman. Yeah... it was little more difficult than I imagined. But through friends and opened doors, I traversed into a life I'd never imagined, and love to this day. And since a small group of fans grew into a larger group, all cheering me onto books two and three, and eventually a new series with mer folk, I haven't looked back.
And now, the ever glamorous life of pajamas pants and clacking on my laptop at odd times of the day has become my life. And thankfully, my characters continue to give me something exciting to think about when I wake up in the morning way beyond their original rescue during a very depressing time--and a paycheck now, too. That's always nice.
So, I hope you've enjoyed my wild roller-coaster tales as much as I enjoyed writing them. Email me and let me know at brendapandos(at)gmail.com! Or better yet, write a quick review on Amazon or B&N. That helps TONS!
Hugs, Brenda
